Lo Barnechea Stadium

The modernization of the Lo Barnechea stadium consisted of adding new stands to accommodate a larger audience. The new stands were constructed of reinforced concrete with an interior walkway system for access and egress, as well as access to the restrooms.

The new structures included stands A, B, and C, in addition to the design of the retaining walls adjacent to the stands. The structural design incorporated American design codes to account for load profiles during sporting events, such as vibration, impact, non-uniform loads, and moving loads, among others.
