Bucket Elevator El Carmen

The structural review consisted in assessing the seismic loads and operational loads to obtain the reactions on the equipment due to the combined action of these forces. Also, the task included designing the supports for the stability of the bucket elevators with similar
geometric characteristics.

These elevators are under extreme weather conditions with a temperature gradient of +/- 40 Celsius degrees which was included in the analysis.
