Project Overview
A one-story structure houses the flotation area for the copper recovery process. The building has a steel frame structure and contains a 7-ton overhead crane. The foundations were designed with footings connected by foundation beams and a watertight slab to prevent acid spills.
The entire flotation and recovery process is automated with robotic arms and visually inspected from an overhead platform.
UCansteng provided independent structural review services.
