Corral Port Project
Project Overview
The expansion of the loading and unloading capacity of the Port of Corral required the addition of new berthing structures, such as the mooring dolphins.
This project consisted of the structural design of the mooring dolphins, which included a review of the acting loads, degrees of freedom, marine currents, wind speed during berthing, vessel types, and seabed conditions, among other parameters.
UCansteng provided maritime data review, geotechnical review, and structural design services, creating analysis models for the integrated mooring dolphin and mooring cable system.
