BSA Thickener Project
Project Overview
UCansteng provided the structural peer review of the support structure of the steel thickener with a capacity of 124 ton of industrial water as part of the cement process. The thickener is supported by four columns braced on all four sides and anchored on reinforced concrete pedestals.
The review included the analysis of the liquid under seismic events with the sloshing and inertial components to ensure the stability and strength of the structure and thickener.
