Nicolas Chahuan Stadium Project
Project Overview
The modernization of Nicolas Chahuan Stadium consisted of remodeling and adding new stands to accommodate a larger audience. The new stands were constructed with steel frames.
In addition, a cantilevered metal roof was added to the new structures, supported by posts that hold the roof’s supporting truss beams.
UCansteng provided independent structural review services, modeling the structure for various load conditions and scenarios typical of sports venues.
