Sodimac developed a comprehensive environmental management program, which includes various energy-related changes and modifications to achieve a more friendly environmental footprint.

This solar project sources more than 60% of its energy from renewable sources, which is equivalent to the energy consumption of 600 houses. The company has installed in 49 stores the photovoltaic systems with a goal in 2030 of all the stores using solar energy as the main source of power.
